Honomanu Ahupuaʻa Restoration Project
Every Wednesday and Saturday from 9:00am - 2:00pm, join in the effort of reopening taro patches at Honomanu Bay. Please bring your water and lunch, reef safe sunscreen, tabis and a hat are recommended.
Please bring a shovel and / or a garden pick. Any tools helpful in the task of digging ditches and taking down overgrowth including weed whackers and chainsaws are appreciated.

A group of volunteers are holding ground at Hale Pili in Kahikinui ensuring the safety and security of Maui’s rural back Country; gathering traffic data and exercising ranger oversight.
Traffic surveyors needed daily: AM shift: 7:00am - 12:00pm PM shift: 12:00pm - 5:00pm Late PM: 5:00pm - 12:00am Early AM: 12:00am - 5:00am Morning: 5:00am - 7:00am
Kitchen crew needed daily: Breakfast: 5:00am - 8:00am Lunch: 10:00am - 1:00pm Dinner: 4:00pm - 7:00pm
Children leaders (2) needed M-F: Keiki hui: 9:00am - 1:00pm
Gatherers needed M / W / F: Mauka hui: 5:00am - 1:00pm Processing hui: 1:00pm - 4:00pm
Food Supplies Needed: Sweet Potatoes, Kalo, Onions, Potato, Celery, Carrots, Tomato, Avocado, Citrus, Lemons, Limes, Fruit, Bread, Jelly, Sausage, Eggs.
General Supplies Needed: 5 gal water jugs (filled), propane tanks, toilet paper, cots, gas cards, kiawe wood, solar lights, action packer crates, pallets and other tiny house building materials including lumber and roofing supplies.

There are many sacred sites all over Hawaiʻi that could use restoration and preservation. Consider doing historical research of your area to find kuleana close to home.
