Support Community Initiative

Crowdfunding to implement 28 resident volunteers for Summer 2019

The Kua Hawai’i Project is crowdsourcing funds to manage the expenses of uniforms, equipment, management oversight and stipends for volunteers to assist with field advising for the Summer 2019 season.

Amongst our studies we have reported a 96% decrease in the following infractions: illegal parking, trespassing on private property, unlicensed commercial activity and commercial activity within sacred spaces, under the condition a resident volunteer is on-site providing visitor education and place-specific awareness.
